Like several other puzzles in this game, this puzzle requires thinking off the page. There's a hint hidden right at the top - 'twisted genius' suggests this ingenious puzzle is twisted somehow. And indeed it is: the thin lines are fold marks. Cut the block into strips, fold on the lines and suddenly you have 7 letters: CORAFTY. O CRAFTY? Yes, but no. A bit more shuffling and you should get: FACTORY.
