<DIV>Yes, the song is about the old rivalries between Germany and England in
soccer. The British mass press often uses comparisons with WW 2 to describe
the German soccer team. These are old clichés and stereotypes, but no one really
takes it for serious. Even in times when the German soccer was more or less good
(not at the moment, but f. e. in the seventies or at the beginning of the
nineties), these clichés were used. In the video there are scenes of three
football games: final soccer world championships in Bern/Switzerland:
Germany-Hungary 3:2 (1954), the famous "Wembley goal" from 1966 (England-Germany
4:2), and from the last "great" victory of England, 5:1 in Munich (?) some years
ago.</DIV>
<DIV>And, of course, RAF is more associated in Germany with "Red Army
Fraction" than "Royal Air Force".</DIV>
