</div>They all seem to have a thing in common: they've picked up and never finished <i>Gravity's Rainbow</i> but love <i>Infinite Jest</i> -- and that seems, in my more impoverished states of mind, to inform a wider inability on their part to come to terms with Postmodernism without a Very Strong tether of Pop Culture. .<br>



 Zizek seems to me to be the worst kind of poseur, regurgitating whatever philosophy book he just read with an unhealthy dose of pop-culture references mixed in. I do not see time being at all kind to him (or to David Foster Wallace, for that matter)<br>
