-Tried to send this early this afternoon. Maybe my company's firewall blocked it

I've also appreciated everyone's heartfelt and thoughtful responses to this tragedy.

I teared up especially when someone quoted the Poor Yorick speech of Hamlet.

We are attached to the guy in a mysterious way. He gave of himself in search of truth and making the world a better place in as intelligent and mature a way he could. We respond to that with our gratitude and our own work to understand and grow as human beings, to be as considerate and kind in our spheres as he in his.

My wife wrote something Sunday which might help a tiny bit with coming to grips with depression and our Loss:

Dear all --

Your thoughts are a huge part of what's kept me going for the last few
days. Thank you for all of them, for your kindness and your
sensitivity.

I've managed to collect myself enough to post this -- http://www.plannedobsolescence.net/in-memoriam/
.

I'll post more here as I can. Please take care, and thank you all
again for your tributes -- they've meant the world to me.

All best,
KF
