My latest visual arts outlet has been this cool online exquisite corpse site that I found. I feel like I have the most in common with the surrealists, historically speaking, and so I went looking for something that satisfies those impulses in the visual realm. I've participated in a couple of corpses: my part is the first slice, with the frogs; the next one was one where I had the last slice, with the fish; and most recently, this one where I had the second slice, with the angel and the wires and stuff. My favorite piece so far is this one, where I had the first slice because it comes together so beautifully! Check them out, I'm pretty pleased the way these are turning out and it's definitely feeling like a worthwhile project.
