Pavonine was born out of the harsh noise project Naught for 3 in 2008. Utilising found sound, field recordings, electronic voice
phenomenon, VLF, satellite feeds, frequency modulation, and heavy drones elements are brought together to create deep, nuanced
soundscapes.
Pavonine is heavily influenced by spirit photography, the occult, alchemy, deep space, Antarctica, Jacques Derrida, seances,
abandoned buildings, ruins, and voices in the tapes as these themes are prevalent in the sounds chosen and presented.
