Receive a greeting from the heart of Popular the indigenous
Council of Oaxaca "Ricardo Flowers Magon" CIPO-RFM, that at the moment
we suffer once again the repression.
We are one organizacion that fight of pacifica way, formed by
communities Zapotecas, Mixtecas, Triquis Chatinas, Chinantecas and
Tacuates. We were born the 17 of November of 1997 to fight by
the reconstruction and frees association of the towns, autonomia,
justice, our rights like towns, ecologia, the women, the human rights,
etc. But from the beginning the governments say that we are
violent and guerrilla like pretext to repress with the policia and
paramilitary groups to us and to stop organizacion independent.
For that reason the 18 of April of 1998 stopped us to 106
people, disappearing and torturing by a day to Raul Gatica to that
since then they have wanted to assassinate. The 1 of January of
2002 kidnapped and tortured to 46 brothers ours of San Isidro the
Reformation, Yagallo and Yaviche. The 11 of August of the same
year in San Isidro Aloapam hurts 36 women, two who were pregnant lose
to his you drink. The 24 of May of 2003 destroy the house of
Raul Gatica and they leave death threats him; the 12 of June,
but of 1000 policias with dogs and gases, to the union of the 3 powers
and to us evacuate of the palace of government and 45 dependencies to
us. The 18 of July right in the center of the city become to try
to assassinate to Raul Gatica. The 13 of September policias ones
dressed civilian try to us to evacuate of the government palace.
The 16 of October paramilitary group CROCUT, directed To stop
Toimil and Jacobo Chavez shoots against an assembly that was made in
Sta. Ma. Yaviche, leaves 1 dead and 9 bullet wounds. The 27 of
October and 20 of November return to threaten of death our brother,
thus finally we decided that it leaves Oaxaca, as a form to avoid that
they kill it. Until today none of the people in charge these
aggressions, although are not the unicas, has been punished.
But also in the communities we resisted with our autogestivos
projects. We have panaderias, we produce cafe, honey, artesanias
of palm, wool and cotton. We have a secondary military
preparatory school and communitarian autonomas, one communitarian
radio in Oaxaca, a cooperative of services, that is, while we
protested constructing.
Reason why we have platicado to them we come to ask for its
support, to see as it is possible to be made to join the fights, the
pavement and terraceria, the donkeys with the cars and the people of
the communities with those of the buildings. We are soliciting:
1) Support to pay unfolding and to collect companies of
organizations and personalities
2) Establecer an agreement of collaboration with the
union to print propaganda and to have a lugarcito where to be when we
come to meetings, managements or protests. Also so that the
students of the social service of the university can go to our
communities to work in the secondary one or the preparatory one and
embosoms to them very otherwise and we share our form to them of life,
or caravans become of solidarity, medica, of construction or work.

3) Some form of commercialization of our products, cafe, palm,
honey, artesanias, etc.
4) Difundan our problematica at all costs that is possible to
them and does that the government feels to engage in a dialog to take
care of the problematica but urgent:
a) Freedom to Oliverio Neri Lopez and punishment to the
paramilitary ones To stop Toimil, Jacobo Chavez and demas that our
brothers in Yaviche massacreed, asi like garantias for the life of
Raul Gatica.
b) Attention to the social demands of the communities of the
CIPO-RFM and stops to the repression of the same ones.
