Subject: questions
1) does anybody know if Pynchon is working on a real book, after
that lightweight Vineland fiasco??
2) Does anybody know of anywhere that might be interested in publishing
a paper on Pynchon and the Cold War???
Thanks--

Although some people may have been dissatisfied with "Vineland", it is
remarkable that any serious reader could term it "lightweight" and a "fiasco."
For those who are interested, the journal "Critique" featured a special issue
devoted to "Vineland" in 1990 (Volume 32, Number 2).
In addition, new essays on "Vineland" will appear in December 1993 from Dalkey
Archive Press. The book, "The Vineland Papers: Essays on Pynchon's Fourth Novel"
is edited by Geoffrey Green, Donald J. Greiner, and Larry McCaffery.
