duck soup is a marx bros. movie.

i confess to another area of ignorance.  outside of seinfeld and the simpsons i
don't watch many sit-coms, so will someone please fill me in on the larquette
show that mentioned tp?  if i read one of this morning's posts correctly, there
was some response from pynchon concerning what some actor playing him would
have to wear if making an appearance on the show?  where and how was this
response issued?
