As many of you know, there is a "c" in the name of Thomas 
Pyn"c"hon. Yet, 
there is also a "c" in my name as well.  This is far too strange a 
correlation to be mere coincidence . . . .

And now, [to quote radio giant Paul Harvey] for the REST of the story; 
I have recently discovered through diligent scholarship and many 
casks of the midnight oil that I in fact am perhaps none other than--
Thomas Pynchon!
