My best recollection:  it used to be Candida Donadio, and is now Lynn
Nesbit?  The latter I think is with a mega agency like MCA or MCI or MCC...

Esquire did a literary-galaxy map once, and i've got it stashed somewhere.
Nesbit (or CD?) seemed to have all my fave writers...

If I have the names right, the story I heard was that Nesbit 'stole' him
from Donadio, who she used to work under.  One of them was supposedly
talking to TP on the phone when, according to TP, the side of his head
'fell off' and he *saw* thru her eyes, her office, which he accurately
described...
