Vineland plot summary? (etc: spoilers?)

No.  Vineland is bleak and hopeless.  Like America herself, beneath 
the wacky glitz there is a great hollowness.  In his other books
there was always something to be found - V. was an actual woman, 
WASTE left tangible evidence, the S-gerat was in a rocket.  But
in Vineland, there's nothing there.
