[Bonnie Surfus (ENG)]

On another tangent:  Has anyone seen the new Madonna video?  Very 
surreal/cyber/rip-off of Bjork (I think she used her producer anyhow), 
and kind of cool.  In the beginning, on a large monitor, there appears a 
large "V."  with the period and all.  Curious.

Talk about the destructive nature of the colonizing impulse!  IN a way, I 
think it's like that "rat on a stick," the frozen spider monkey--kind of 
cool.  But again, I also think it's a bit disturbing.  But I don't want 
to get into the same kind of argument over who can read Pynchon (like the 
one about Kurt Cobain.)  so, there it is.  Anyone see it?
