Farina, Koopman & Hawthorne

Haven't read BDSLILLUTM in a while, so I'll take on faith the
observation that he was emulating Joyce.  Which makes me think
that Koopman is the DERANGED GHOST OF FARINA.  Somehow, in a
cyber-psychical way, the poor traumatized spirt of Farina
has connected with the list and is valiantly trying to make
him(it)self understood!  We should all concentrate really hard
(While holding astral hands) and maybe we can BRING THE BOY DOWN!
Also, as long as we're mentioning famous literary forebears of the
Pynchon name, can I toss in HOUSE OF THE SEVEN GABLES (surely
this is not a new observation) with its down-at-the-heels
Pynchons (or was that Pyncheons?)
