There's a show-tune schtick or two that waxes Pynchonian in Neal Stephenson's THE DIAMOND AGE. I was amused. I know that SNOW CRASH has been mentioned here but am not sure if THE DIAMOND AGE has. ted samsel tejas at infi.net
