Pondering Lot 49

There are, in *this* world, three types of people: those to whom you recommend
V., those to whom you recommend COL49, and those to whom you recommend GR as
the place to start with Pynchon.  Each, it seems to me, appeals to a
different set of mindsets and sensibilities.  But I value most those to whom
I'd recommend GR!

(And I though I like VINELAND much more than some on this list, I'm not sure
that I'd recommend it as a place to start.)
