I would fly to California, fear of both planes and earthquakes in check, 
for such an event.  Gotta have some women there anyhow, right?  Only 
thing is--the pig-related topping?  can't be bacon.  don't do it.  no 
way.  or pepperoni (who knows if that's pig or not?)  green peppers are 
good with sausage, which I can tolerate if I don't think about it too 
much.  In fact, that'll be the week following my Phd exams.  I can't 
think of a better way to wait out the results.
