kerouac and paranoia

I like the thread about the Beat-Pynchon connection.  It would
be interesting to quiz Ginsberg, Burroughs, Whalen etc and see
if they have ever read TRP and what they might think of him.
Let's not forget the shared music connection too:  love of 
musicians as outlaws, etc.
On another tangent:  Anyone care to (dare to?) touch the issue
of how TRP's paranoia matches/differs from/complements the 
right wing paranoia recently exposed in the OKC bombing?
Both as American as plastic-explosive-laced apple pie...?
