Hey, it's getting ugly around here.  I still have more than 20 messages to
read: maybe someone else has chimed in to protest by now; I hope so.
Can you [pl] be a little less aggressive, competitive, personally vicious?
Don't get me wrong: I love energetic exchange; but that's just what is
likely to be put at risk the way things are going.  If you can't resist a
comeback (and I know the temptation), maybe you can send the more personal 
ones as private messages.  The public display of "Oh yeah, you're another one"
has lost its charm.

Sure, sure: now you can go after me, right?
