Pynchon and SF

For people interested in relatively contemporary SF, you might want to check
out the fairly new NORTON ANTHOLOGY OF SCIENCE FICTION, co-edited by Brian
Atterberry (nice guy, I was in an NEH seminar with him once) and Ursula K.
LeGuin (whom I once met in fleeting passing, as she tamped down her pipe).  It'sfew "classics," lots of more contemporary stuff and has a good introduction
surveying the different definitions of SF.  (I don't have my copy at hand, so
I don't remember if TRP is included, but I'd doubt it--I'll have to check.)
