And if you haven't read the first, give it a try. It's a well crafted 
book with the story laid out in parallel development. A good, but not 
quick, read.

I picked up another recent book whose exact title escapes me at the 
moment. Something like _Stalin and the Atom Bomb_. Haven't had a chance 
to read it yet. Still plowing through Gaddis. (Maybe I should get a tractor.)
