Hmm. "Fire-bombing a la Dresden?" What about Tokyo? more died as a result of the
firebombing there than died at either Hiroshima or Nagasaki... as a matter of 
record, Tokyo was disqualified as an A-bomb target because there was "nothing 
left"...


and about science fiction - I have a nostalgia for the "New Wave" SF of the late
Sixties/early Seventies. Some of the writers that I most admired from that era 
are still active... some of them haven't completely transferred their talents to
the "fantasy" arena. Does anyone remember Michael Moorcock's _The Cornelius 
Chronicles"?
