Another Thought On The Bomb

W-well...  that argument is just a bit to aesthetic for me...  the bomb 
was created because it made a really big bang and required little in the 
way of delivery systems.  Rather than having to send in 300 B-17s, a 
single bomber would do.  The eroticism gets added to the bomb only when 
people have the leisure to start thinking about it.

Even at the time of the bombings, no one really had a clue about the 
effects of radiation.  This cluelessness was why the US Army could 
station troops a couple of miles away from A Bomb test sites... just to 
see what happened.

Anybody seen medical histories for those troops?
