Curve balls?

Fact: curve balls actually curve.

This has been well established for at least a decade with the use of
high-speed cameras and the like.. The optical illusion version of the story
is a popular urban legend. The phenomenon is more easily observed in say,
ping-pong, or even soccer, where it is possible to score off a corner kick. 

Now back to our regularly scheduled highly speculative program.
