Down under, you or me?

Well thats christmas done, I'd give Ole TRP one of those Kaleidoscope
things, a very particular one, which I have here on the floor with me,
which departs from the usual boring old cut and coloured glass and
replaces them with a bunch of painted self tapping screws (I think
drywall screw is North American for my Australian). A very nice effect I
think, very rocket like from certain angles.

Has anyone, by chance heard what the signed copies so recently discussed
herein actually sold for? I believe xmas was the close of bidding and the
suspense is killing me.

By the way, I'm currently in a little town north of Sydney in Aust,
called Newcastle. Today was hot and sunny and I played in the three
ringed pool that Santa bought my kids. Tis awful hot, worse to come
tomorrow I fear.

Which is why I think one of the most interesting things about this internet
thingy and indeed
this discussion group in general, is the variety of perspective brought
together, while I sweat, and I believe there are others on my side of the
equator doing same, you chill. Yet we discourse merrily, watching
scholarship change before our very eyes, in full living ascii monochrome
with completely different sense impressions of what is happening.
Cheers, Grant
