So, instead of a virgin, V. is a 'ho', right?  

No wonder: "His father. Ha." (p.489 or so).

I NOW suppose that there was no immaculate conception, but quite a 
maculate one. Now that p.489 passage seems less puzzling. Sidney doesn't 
know if the kid is his.
