I tried reading this book awhile ago but by the time I got to about page 
150 I began wondering if this guy was really legit. Though I'm no 
physicist, I don't consider myself a dummy either. When I began to 
question Mr. Tipler's science I posted a query over to sci.physics. Every 
response I got essentially said that regardless of Mr. Tipler's 
credentials, he was way out on this one.
