Correction--please

I think I've been misunderstood too.  Hoping to spark some debate (and to
introduce a new voice to the list), I forwarded a posting by David Emery
from R.A.B.  That seems to have led some readers to think _I_ was slamming
_V._, a novel those who know me know I admire greatly and think is generally
under-appreciated.  Guess that's what comes of playing "let's you and him 
fight."  I was going to recommend we all mind our intertexts, but maybe
I should just remind myself to.
