Coupla more observations:  Major synchronicity (Thanks, Pappy
Jung!) with Bonnie's goddess observations, since I'm just now
reading my first 
reading my firs M. Gimbutas book, and was going to mention that 
some of the almond-eyed masks she reproduces look exactly
like the archetypical grey-skinned aliens of contemporary
myth!
Also, what of Terence McKenna's "hyperspace machine  elves,"
access to whom is granted by Ye Old Magic Mushroom
????  Equal to aliens, or yet another manifestation of
hidden corners of the universe?
