Hadn't meant to broadcast that unmellow _MM_ v _BB_ question to
pynchon, nonetheless, there it is, painted all over town, so few
tricks to editing a cc line when specifics and personal insight needs
a torch light.  As if my lamps don't generate enough friction as is.
