Enough already

The relentless cutesiness is getting cloying.  Can we cool it a little, 
please?  "Don't mean to bitch, folks" (and don't ask me for the page 
number for that one), and I'm not being humorless.  But I am starting to 
feel embarrassed for having recommended the list to so many friends
who are now expressing some annoyance with me.
