As for gastronomic effects, I can highly recommend some variation of Banana 
Breakfast.  Naturally (or unnaturally) not every aspect of that fabulous 
feast is easy to duplicate.  But many years ago we did have a banana 
midnight brunch, including approximately 22 manifestations.  Seriously, it 
was surprisingly varied.
