One of my students, who has decided to enliven his summer break by reading
GR, told me that just last night while flipping past one of the TV
tabloids (he didn't know which one), he heard a mention that Pynchon had
been writing the Tinasky letters.

Has anyone caught this (HARD COPY?  INSIDE EDITION?)?  True or not, the WT/
TRP connection has now acquired the status of Media Legend!
