Don't know that I'd call "Time's Arrow" a tour-de-force... a nice try, 
maybe, but the artifacts of the writing, the visible choosing of what to 
run backwards and what not, greatly interfered in the quality, IMO.  

Running the dialogue backwards was nice, but why not the sentences within 
paragraphs?  Why not words within sentences or letters within words?  

I give M. Amis high marks, but this one is nowhere near what I'd call 
perfection.
