Actually, there's much more to this story than has emerged to date.  There
are dozens of letters, all in different "styles" on different topics (though
why should Mr. P write letters to the editor in the voice of the narrator of
V, CoL49, GR, or Vl, eh?)  plus a humorous bit of lit crit by Mz. Tinasky,
and the prospectus for a book project to collect this miscellany, now being
promoted at the ABA in Chi-town.

For what it's worth, R. Crumb is convinced these are the real McCoy and has
consented to illustrate the volume of epistolaries.
