TV GUIDE (aka Tubal Enlightenment) and 1/2 Dan

Latest issue of TV GUIDE (Victoria Principal on cover) boasts
a headline (on the SF column) "Anti-gravity's rainbow".  Just
thought you should know.
Pardon my atrophying brain, but have we ever discussed affinities
of Steely Dan the group (not the Burroughsian implement after 
which they were named) to Pynchon.  Mostly a matter of attitude,
sensibilities, concern with less sane side of technology. For the
past few months I've been enjoying Walter Becker's "11 Tracks of 
Whack" his first solo album.  (It's got 12 cuts on it, natch.)
Take a listen and tell me if at times you don't flash on 
TRP.
