Probably so. Too bad that Ken Russell's unique talents died on
the vine. I think he directed the aforementioned El Sargento
Pimentel......
But with the NBNW ref in GR & Tom (GUMP) Hanks being the modern
Cary Grant (according to the trade rags), would Tom Hanks (with a
DiNiro gain of adipose) make a decent Tyrone Slothrop?
And yet, in the intro to SLOW LEARNER, TP admits to a fond affection
for one of my favorite characters, Pig Bodine. A sitcom with Bodine's
zany (yet unhygenic) antics? I LIKE that.
