Well, let's see: we were speculating on Pynchon's (very) private life, 
suggesting (once again) that he was/is JD Salinger, comparing _Vineland_ to 
various works of pulp fiction... Maybe we're all waiting for a post by the new 
member.

The list seems to be working, just not overtime.
