Kenosha

Another important person from Kenosha is, of course,
the colonel who gets the haricut from Eddie Pensiero
as a frame to Byron the Bulb's story.  

Slothrop's amytal dream is related to Byron's story
on a number of levels.  Both include an escape through
a toilet after attempted or actual anal stimulation.
Both begin with the sounds of blues music and 
references to mouth organs.  And Slothrop ends up
on a plain where there is only one of each and everything,
which rapidly turns into a mulititude when everything
is taken into account.  Byron of course finds that
he is one discreet part of a multitude that
rapidly becomes a single entity of Bulb.

I realize that this doesn't shed any light on who the 
Kenosha Kid might be.
