Just got a chance to read the online version of the Seigal
article and want to say thanx, whatever the ethics involved.
And as a final sidebar to this whole thread, may I mention the
intriguing actions of Bruce Sterling, who posted the entire
booklength manuscript of his THE HACKER CRACKDOWN at the same
time it was published on paper, saying he didn't mind losing
a few dollars of royalties to promote his ideals.
