On Wed, 11 Oct 1995 MASCARO at humnet.ucla.edu quoted by a Gore
Vidal novel:

>
> "Pynchon's lesser corrollary to the law of gravity [whereby] whenever a

> of where gravity insists it rest when not under propulsion, then MACRO

Seems to me I have repeated heard (read) Vidal make disparaging
remarks about Pynchon-like novels. In my opinion the quoted passage
is meant to be a putdown.
