So what's to argue about?

With the minor exception that I see the merits in (and also enjoy 
reading) even people like Gore and King, of course.

Literature and personal preferences in what one reads and enjoys reading 
have got to be among the most priviledged of all private rights, at least 
in the West.  I'm a very promiscuous reader... if it has print, I'll 
probably read it, even if it's not in a language I know.  That's not only 
a right, it out-and-out fun.
