anybody out there the eerie affinities between hitchcock's masterpiece 
_North By Northwest_ and CL49? I could go off on the subject, but i would 
prefer to defer to those of you out there who know more about film in 
general and the era in question specifically (i'm not even sure what year it 
was). 
anyway, i think this connection is potentially very revealing.
ideas?
