1) I note that the newish book KOOKS by Diana Kossey (sp.?)
has a section on trepanation.
2) Loved nomination of Rpbin Williams as ideal GR reader. This
discussion dovetails into perfect film director one. Any more
nominations?
3) Female picaro: oddly, the maligned and despised SF/Fantasy/
Sowrd & Sorcery genre(s) feature probably more female picara (?)
than the mainstream. Just consider Rober Howard's Red Sonia
for one. And note that the spinoff from the syndicated Hercules
TV show this season features a female warrior(ess).
4) My introduction to GR was perhaps the most cavalier: in
an undergrad course on modern comic writers (?), we had read
COL49, and were told we could read GR for extra credit!
5) Is there a day in GR similar to Bloomsday on which GR
could be read aloud publically? (Forgive my heinous lapse
of memory thereof...)
