More TV connections

I've been trying to watch more tv. How's that for looking backward?

Anyway, I've watched a couple episodes of a new UPN series called "Nowhere
Man." Photographer's life/wife/everything is taken from him by some undefined
group that manages to seem like everyone else on the planet. He manages to
keep shaking them off and holding on to his own sense of himself.

It's actually pretty good. Don't know how they'll keep it up for a whole
season. 

I bring it up because you can't help but think of the paranoia theme (them)
in Pynchon. Does that make the Nowhere Man (Tom Vale) = Tyrone Slothrop? If
you think about the names, maybe there's something to be found there. Sorry,
I haven't dug out my GR to study it.
