Pynchon in Movies

I saw this, possibly at your recommendation, and was mostly impressed 
with it. I didn't find much Pynchonesque about it, except for the fairly 
awesome intrigue surrounding this Sose character, who  in some ways is 
more reminiscent of Pynchon himself than any of his characters - you 
wouldn't recognize him if he was staring you in the face. The ending of 
this movie, unfortunately, is a bit too tidy, it would have been better 
left open-ended.
