Relevant to this topic is Andrew Gordon's piece in The Vineland Papers, recounting a meeting with TRP in Berkeley in 1967, arranged by a female friend acquaintance who "said she had met him in Berkeley in 1965 and that they stayed in touch." He of course does not say who she is, and I can't blame him.
