As I said, it has been awhile since I saw it, but I guess I can see your 
take on the movie.

But does all of the visual stuff -- the staging, camerawork, etc -- 
enhance or detract from the work?  I went away from the movie in the same 
state as when I watched "Eraserhead": fascinated but baffled.
