I feel as if I'm hogging the list bandwidth, but...

I thought I'd reply publicly so that others who prefer to get their
test messages in a digest may benefit :-). Yes, pynchon-l is available in
digest form. It's called pynchon-l-digest. Here are the instructions.

PS: I think that's enough posts from me for one day.

-----

Digests with Majordomo are actually distinct lists. The digest version
of the pynchon-l list is a list called pynchon-l-digest. If a user
wants to use the digest version of the list, they must be subscribed to
pynchon-l-digest, and not pynchon-l. Similarly, they must unsubscribe
from pynchon-l-digest to stop receiving digests.

# Basic usage

To subscribe to the list, people should send a message containing:

  subscribe pynchon-l

    or

  subscribe pynchon-l-digest

to waste at waste.org. If they are successful, they will receive a message
confirming their subscription as well as an info file for the list. The
list owners will also receive notification of the subscription. To
unsubscribe, they simply send:

  unsubscribe pynchon-l

    or

  unsubscribe pynchon-l-digest

to waste at waste.org, which will remove their address, send them a
confirmation, and send a note to the list owners.

To post to the list (even if they're on the digest version), users send
mail to "pynchon-l at waste.org"

Digests of the day's messages will be sent out at about 2AM, U.S. Central
time.
