          For some reason I had been unsubscribed from this list and,
          ashamed but not too much so to admit it, didn't notice it
          for about a week, so I don't know if it has come up, as I
          just resubscribed a few minutes ago, but thought you all
          should know that today is the 30th anniversary of the death
          of Richar Farina.  All the best to him and to you
          Pynchonites.  Bob Fuhrel
